A general yoga class where both beginners and continuing students are welcome. The Yoga is HATHA , Yoga of movement and a whole-body approach to fitness. Yoga postures free up the body, promoting suppleness, strength and improved posture and the mind becomes a quieter place.
What can I expect in a Mixed Ability Hatha Yoga Class?
As its title suggests, this class is suitable for all students, regardless of level and experience. We extend a warm welcome to those who have never done Hatha yoga before but who wish to learn.
A typical class will begin with some gentle warm-up stretching exercises, moving on to a sequence of recognised hatha yoga poses or asanas , which work on body, breath and mind to nurture and invigorate the whole being. Breath awareness practices, followed by a guided relaxation, round off the class and instil a deep sense of well-being.
